Just wounder where u guys buy your tubing?

Need tubings for the manifold and the exhaust.

Stainless steels that is..:chat

321ss for the manifold, 2" primaries and 1.5 for the wastgate..

And 304ss for the exhaust system, 5" downpipe and 4" the rest of the way back.

I get mine from "Alan the Welder" who is a friend that lives very close to me. He\'s always fabricating something or other of late, and can get the stainless or indeed the material they use in F1, to copy an existing design.

Isnt there any online shops that sells tubing and mufflers?

You could try :

http://www.jetex.co.uk/

But most of the stainless will be 304. I\'ve always tried to source locally by means of yellow pages but I\'m not sure what you have in norway ??

Kev yorks should know a supplier, he had a 5in downpipe on his old cosmo !

Could always get sheet rolled and seamed for the larger diameters. Usually wall thickness increases in larger bore pipe if it isn\'t seamed.

I can get all the tubes I need from burn stainless steel in US, but shipping price is very high from US to Norway..:(

pdtaylor18

There must be something over in Norway that will supply what you need??
I went to my local exhaust wholesalers and they suppllied straight through 6\' sections in most sizes but they never sold the mandrel bent tubing.
Why dont you try somewhere else over your side, surely somewhere like Germany must be cheaper to purchase goods from and widely available?

Just done a rough costing on prices for shipping from UK to Norway a package 20Kg 90cm length and approx 30x30 is about £70,this was using Interparcel. Thats the cost of your fuel to pop over the border to get some tubing!! Especially if you got a diesel car.
