Hello and thanks for reading,How can you adjust the clutch pedal as i am getting nothing just finger play untill i hit resistance on the slave cylinder half way down the clutch pedal. so basically i have half a clutch pedal of play before i hit any resistance so how would i adjust the cluch to take up play almost instantly?i have a rough idea with a 10mm and 12m spanner but i am at work today and when i get home it wont be long before it falls pitch black so i could do with roughly knowing what i am looking for and what to do. thankyou.

You can adjust the clutch pedal, by adjusting the rod that attaches to the pedal which goes into the clutch cylinder. If it is still soft then try bleeding the system via the nipple on the clutch slave cylinder attached on the gearbox.

i have tryed bleeding the system for over an hour last night to be 100%. ended up bleeding about a pint but taking further note of the pedal it feels like the only thing it is doing is pressing down on a spring hindge untill it reaches the cylinder plunger untill there is any sort of resistance at all. then the resistance works for the rest of the pedal.so i need to try and remove that play if you can understand to get full use out of the cylinder hence why my clutch is only half disengaging causing me not to be able to change gear. thank you.
