I have a couple of questions on my car.

The 1st is there is some oil coming out of the top part of the elbow pipe that conects from the intercooler to the inlet manifold. Its is leeking where the gasket is bolted in. I take it this should not be doing this ??????

The 2nd is when i take off the oil cap there is loads of creamy gunk like stuff down there. Im no exspert but this cant be good can it.

Any help on this would be good.

Thanks

rx jamie

It sounds like one of your water seals has gone.

The white creamy salad cream is normal, i got worried when i saw it and could of buttered a whole loaf of bread with it... shorlty followed by my mate saying head gaskets gone...which i knew i didnt have a head gasket..anyways had it checked its quite normal on rotary engines.

not lots of it though. a little bit maybe. compression will tell all anyway.

yes get it tested like jamie says then you will know yourself and hopefully your mind will be put at rest :)

Had it looked and told its very normall even the rx8"s do it aparantley. As for the leeking oil i was told it cold be the oil injectors or the seals going on the turbo"s
