RX8 Stalling easily

OK basically my dad\'s rx8 has started to stall pretty easily. Usually its actually hard to stall. Ive had both of my 7\'s engines pretty much stop yet the carry on and don\'t stall. Think the same can be said for the rx8.

My dad seems to think its because the plugs are on the way out, the cars due a service, but with all this business with rx8 engines going boom just thought id check that everything is cool. So is this a sign of a bigger problem?
