Been doing some trawling of the net for random stuff , and ended up on ebay.com

there i found a switch that i have never seen before for an FC - so some more digging and i came up with this

http://www.cabrio7.org/rx7man10.html

i think thats a miles better place for the roof switch - wonder if the later cars have the wiring still in place for it ?

Stu

I suppose its probably one of these \'only on certain models\' switchs, like the electronic damper control switch

grinder

who knows - i have checked the FSM and on both the S4 and S5 - its on the dash - so not sure how they get it on the centre console ??

unless its USA only ??

Mine is JDM - so its not the jap market ?

Might take you up on that, as I want to put some additional switches in mine and only use the coin holder things to hold screws whilst disassembling the dash surround :Giggle

I got one off Pete - but some of the clips are broken on it.

grinder

ok Dave - that really confused me mate !!

are you after the silly switch thingy ??

not sure on the condition of mine - as it keeps falling into the console - but i have a spare console in the boot ( bought at last RS or even the previous one - so might get round to swapping it over one day ! )

i would have liked it if the speaker thing worked - but no idea where it gets all the inputs from to be honest

I have the speaker switch and the surround from Pete, but the surround plate has some lugs missing. I also have the original coin holder variant in the car (which has 2 fog light switches and the mirror switch).

If you wanted to swap your speaker switch surround for the coin holder one then I can oblige :)

PS - not including the switches - just the empty surround plate

It is - the coin holder bit isn\'t removable.  That\'s why I am after a good condition speaker type one - as I need that rectangular cut out :)
