Lol yeah I got mine from Andrew and it was pretty standard (bar the Power FC I had put in). Only lasted a few months standard lol and its still being modified now.

Sometimes wish I had kept it standard though, they are great cars in that form.

I remember opening mine up for the first time after the rebuild, my brother was in the car also and I was shocked how quick it was. Plus the effect when the 2nd turbo came online was (and still is) superb !!!! Never fails to bring a grin to your face !! But just be careful in the wet !!!!!!

Looks a very nice clean car you have there mate !!!

Brighton-Rex

Cheers, yeah looking forward to that second turbo :D

Is the front bumper meant to have a grille of some sort in it to protect radiator etc? As i can see mounting points but at the moment it is all pretty exposed.

Nope, I\'ve had my car for 4 years now and never had an issue with this.
Even caught a bird flying left which went in the middle gap and ended up in front of the left oil cooler lol.

I think that i may be a little bit in love with my car lol I haven\'t stopped driving it lately, i cant remember the last time i felt so motivated to just \'go for a drive\'

Also have ordered a few bits from Newera so will post some pics once they are fitted :D

Hi

What did you purchased and do you have a programmable ECU like the Apexi?
I am sure you know what you are doing but if you are changing the exhaust system to a de-cat and or changing the IC you will have to map the ECU, standard RX7 ECU can not be mapped…

Let us know..

I am only looking after you engine LOL We don’t want you to blow it

Michaelb

Brighton-Rex

No i have ordered only styling bits (99 spec rear lights etc) so far, i do plan to replace standard exhaust and induction kit but will defo be investing in Apexi PFC  first :D

Many thanks for caring though :)

very nice, I have a 96 RB Bathurst with 99 spec front and back - same lights as yours, have a look at 99 spec nose and lip - with the above the car will look really elegant and sleek,

Michaelb

Brighton-Rex

Yeah already got the lip waiting to go on :D

I will be sorting a 99 spec front bumper too at some point.
