ECU serial numbers.

How can I get information about the different codes or serial numbers in the standard ECU?
Some people in Spain are trying to get PFC\'s but don\'t know which ones they should be getting.
Can you tell which one you\'d need by checking the standard ECU serial numbers?
As an example:
Which PFC would I need if the serial was: EGI N3B7  18  881B

You need to see how many plugs are on the ECU if I remember 8 Bit has 3 plugs 91 to 95 and 16 bit has 4 plugs 95 to 02 not to sure if i have the dates right.
