putting the engine back in - we had some issues, any tips?

well its got a paddle clutch and uprated flywheel which seems to stick out more then a standard unit,so when you push the release bearing into the clutch you cant physically push it in far enough to slip the ring over it,so to get over this i took out all bolts on the clutch except one to allow the clutch ring to be pulled further away from the flywheel and it worked,i thought it was tight when i took the engine out but wasnt till i had the gbox bolts in i realised id ....ed up,
As for robbie rx-7 and the standing on the car with a rope it does sound very rambo im well impressed
