South wales, diagnostic ?

Your probably fed up of random questions but im really having my balls twisted on this one.... Ive been due to pick up my FD since xmas but unfortunatly problem leads to more problems.
 
Car is in limp mode. happy with that .
 
Hard bit is finding somewhere to get the diagnostic done. My seller is located in swansea and has been to plenty of garages all of who promise the world then look under the bonnet and crap themselves. nearly all say they dont have correct kit to do a diagnostic on the car so we can get to the root of the problem.
 
Does anyone know anywhere in south wales,Swansea area that can reliably do a diagnostic on the FD. :confused:
 
I would pick the car up myself and bring it back to Carl at  Hayward but Domestic Leader wont let me take the plunge without picking the car up all healthy and out of limp mode ( she knows her fd`s  :2Rolleyes )lol

Finally a big than q to the lads on saturday at the open day, was a good laugh, just a shame i had to cut it short .
I did try to hide my bike in the corner but Ducati`s just aint the quietest of bikes. . . .

Nearest I can think of would be WGT in Cheshire? It\'s not THAT far from you, but might be a ball ache to get it there in Limp mode?

OR....have a phone round your local Mazda garages - they should be able to help, my imported FD was serviced (before I got it) regularly at a main dealer - and that included a diagnostic session to sort out a busted lambda sensor according to the receipts.

Yea... I agree with trotter matey.... I know the swansea Mazda dealer is willing to play with imports as I got a few bits for my roadster from them & they wee more than happy to help me out! might be worth a call to see what they say??

Yea i know he went to one dealer in the swansea area, and they basicaly told him they didnt hold the diagnostic kit anymore. shame but i guess with the rx8 in the show room they aint bothered so much.
He also went to a performance specialist and they were puzzled also.
 
Like i said before i aint gonna let it beat me :Grrr
 
But thanks for the address ill pass it on 2 m.
I stopped by rotekniks on the way home tonite and spoke with garry and the lads.I must be the only guy whos there everyweek and i havent even picked up mine yet.
 
And further more the missus has got hers sat in the drive way....
 
Yeah sorry we didnt catch up mate on saturday, was enjoying it. Had a chat with Nik and a couple of the other guys but had a call from work and had to shoot off.. Quite intimidating riding into a rotary meet on a duke, felt ashamed like i was the unwanted ginger step child. Nah just kidding was a giggle.
 
though i did cain it when i left and passed a an fd on the back wheel.
