just fitted my CF VIS racing hood. looks just like D Max CF hood but the vents are a bit further back (which i think is bit better)

some pics with hood on.
Its SO MUCH lighter than the stock lead TII hood!
though kinda miss the TII vent :o

its a reamus on the badge.. not exactly sure what or why.. might be a tuning company in japan.. but many think it looks like a ferrari from a dist lol

wont be painting bonnet. its carbon fibre.. dont really fancy painting over it.. lol

Paint the bonnet in red all except a couple of nice wide Shelby Viper stripes to leave the carbon weave showing, then get the stripes extended with paint or vinyl over the roof and bumper. Look wicked then

. Never seen an FC with Cobra stripes, although Racing Beat seemed quite fond of them, so may have been done before?

Don\'t paint the headlights black, that\'d be pikey :Nono!:D

You say that you miss your TII bonnet, but as you have a front mount it was useless lol thats why I am keeping my top mount

ooh.. come think of it.. maybe stripes like the 430 strdial thingie from ferrari might be nice hehe

mitch: ya, the vent is useless as its now fmic but looks tasty, thought about using that to vent air to the intake but too much hassel lol and i got vented headlight cover so...

brett: sorry, missed ur post earlier. was easy to fit. literally unbolt and bolt new one on. the hardest was lifting the old lead hood off by myself!!
its cos a stock subframe under the CF with stock latch thingie.. doesnt fit too great but can play with the n/s headlight cover to match the differance in height

i got well n truely multi colour fc now. red, faded red, orangy red, black and pink! lol

stick with red lights! even if you could get cf covers, the red lights just draw even more attention to the nice looking bonnet.

EDIT: must remember to not post in threads i find with the \'search\' button and resurrect them...
