Hi Dan, seen your last few posts about your 1st Gen and I\'ve wondered.

I\'ve only got one 1st Gen in Edinburgh area.....a blue Series 2 with an Elford. Would that be you?

UK \'SA\'s\' are nearly always Series 1\'s though......uber rare on the road. (Though the very first UK Series 2\'s were also \'SA\' until \'FB\' came into the VIN plate around 1981).

If the blue S2 is not you then would you be able to PM me with your Reg and colour for my register?

I\'ve been slowly cleaning it up, i\'ve fitted 15" SSR MK1 wheels and dropped it. Also had a full exhaust system made up for it too and fitted the right sized plates!

I think it will be an SA22c not an FB because it\'s an import car. As said above, the UK cars became FB\'s around 1981 but I don\'t think Japan or US reg cars did that.

The first few letters of the VIN will have SA22C in it. UK cars (after some time in 1981) start JMZFBxxxxxxxxxxxx

Do any of you know the whereabouts of this RX7 Reg RYE 992. It was stolen and sold last June whilst we were living overseas.

Righto chaps, my Elford Turbo has been in storage for the last 7 years now, the photo was taken before we went to work overseas, so she does not look quite as clean and shiny now but is still in good condition. I am getting her on the road for the summer and hope to make Brooklands later in the month.

In the meantime I am planning to work my way through replacement of all running gear before she has an engine and turbo rebuild and respray.

Having had one RX stolen, I am reluctant to post the reg no, but I will let David know for his listings.
