I am not putting any figures to either Tim White\'s Blue S3 or the Scots one. Let them do that.
But think of a price on here for a Concourse S3 - if you could find one - and then add a bit more for Tim\'s car. Then multiply by 4 or 5 for the Scots Car.

You wanna take A213XGK off the list Dave? If it ever was on the list.

David Nock (RIP)

Yes thanks Tool, will do.

It was in the \'Probably going to be Scrunched\' file......now it\'s in the \'Gone but not Forgotten\' section.

David,

A couple more 1st gens for your list:

B347KCU.  Red 1st gen. series 3.  I owned this car from 1995 to 1998 and took it to an RX7OC meeting at Brooklands around that time.  I think it was the first year the RX7OC went to Brooklands.  Sold it to Roteknics when I moved overseas in 1998 and from DVLA looks like it was on the road until 2002. The condition was excellent (but not mint).  I had a moonroof for it which I passed on to another RX7OC member from Leicester, whom I met at Brooklands.  His car was mint, A reg, red, always garaged, meticulously cared for, never used in the winter and almost certainly still mint if he still has it.  Possibly Number 46 on the list?

Second car is B80YUU.  1st generation, series 3, red, belongs to a friend of mine since 1990 (I drove him to pick it up when he first bought it).  I\'ve not seen the car in 15 years, but it has always been dry stored and little used, so low mileage.  Currently dry stored in the West Midlands.

Hi Paul. Thanks Mate, KCU and YUU duly noted. New Reg Nos to me.
It seems KCU might be a gonna (from DVLA) so I\'ve noted it as probably lost - gone to the scrapman.

Now the Leicester car.....yes I\'ve known that car for years, seen it once in Llandudno of all places....I know it as a multiple prize winner and I know it is only roadgoing in the summer months. But I\'ve never seen the owners post anything to the net so presume they\'re not computer people. I would guess they still own the car. They had a Tender Blue one as well but that is export flagged.

Dave,

Another one for you.  The S2 drift car that went on ebay yesterday was reg number USSfiftyoneS (nice plate).  According to the DVLA off the road since 1994. I went to see it, it was very sound underneath and the engine was very sweet, but a little too un-original for me.

I\'m in the market for a 1st generation, preferably series 3 and preferably red, but condition and lack of rust underneath is probably more important.  I do my own work on cars, so don\'t mind something that needs fettling over the winter.

I was trying to see the 34,000 mile s2 in London (YOI) that was on ebay, but the seller didn\'t answer and withdrew the auction soon after I asked to see it - shame, maybe it sold privately.

The red S3 with the stripe in Norwich looks lovely, but expect it is little bit beyond my wife\'s budget.  Maybe a very large christmas for her this year or some truth stretching about price would get it for me :)

.

Ian,

Thanks for pointing this one out - I had not found the "for sale" area of the web site, so had missed it completely :3Confused.  Earlier today I agreed to buy a 1st gen series 3 with absolutely no rot (but needs fettling), subject to the current owner putting a 12 month MOT on it.  If it falls through, I will be straight in touch with Fernando for a look at the red TWR.

I will post what I have bought once it is in my garage.

Thanks for that Tyson - that\'s the car you put up in pics a bit back?

I\'m well pleased \'cos I had it in the \'No Category\' section - with no Reg to ID it.

Cheers
