Yes- RED pinstripe added by myself, just to add a little something and match the interior colour. Sets it off quite well I thought.

It looks good the pinstripe,i was being nosey & expanded your picture to see it.:bandit

No worries on that score - we all like to nose around occassionally, this is how we learn things sometimes.

I see \'SUX\' didn\'t make it to reserve price again - only 2 bidders and finished @ £1020.
If you ask me this is better than TMX with even less mileage.

I like the red pinstripe, even on black.
Wonder if this was an optional extra as few cars seem to have it?
Does remind me a bit of XR3\'s decor of the day, remember the MG Maestro & Metro\'s attempts, yuk, red everywhere & MG badges on any flat surface they could mount them,on steering wheel, gear knob, gauges, bootlid, centre of alloys, down side of cars,on passenger side of dash,TACK!!

Good job they only lasted two rain showers before rust set in.

I dunno but it\'s going to be a mare to get it off. Whether it\'s because it\'s been on for so long or some other reason, it\'s well stuck.
The top / colour layer eventually peels away leaving the base of the stripe under it. Might need a heat gun to get it off in one layer.

I love the look of that Fb,but to be honest i\'ve no where to store it,my red Fb is in the single garage & i\'d hate to leave this silver Fb out in the elements.
It\'s got the bidding going,3 other bidders now,i think £1200 is a very good price,if it\'s as rot free as the owner says?
Anyone predict the next lottery nos for me,so i can get a double garage for it?
ta stu..

Would really like to help you out with this one Stu but the wife says it must be our turn by now - so sorry mate, looks as if I will be buying the 2 car garage instead  (I WISH).

Yes cliff,my garage is sooooooooooo tight i can\'t even get a trolley jack with a handle under a car, because the walls are in the way, dose,nt matter how far i park the car over to one side either!
I\'d deffo have this Fb as a track project if i had room, hope it goes to another enthusiast & ends up on MRC.
It\'s strange how you get yourself worked up over something you know you can\'t have, frustrating, depressing & annoying.
Must be grateful for what we already have,

I\'m with you all the way on that one Stu - my wife keeps saying \'you can\'t save them all on your own\'.
Yes it must be great to be able to pick up a real gem of a car which is unmolested and doesn\'t/hasn\'t had any major rectification work done to her BUT I personally feel more drawn to those which need the work to bring them back to life.  Take JAZ which I bought in March, yes needed work but what the heck, I\'m an enthusiast and want to do this work properly rather than bodge her up.  So feel this way every time I see one on eBay which needs work.
My stable currrently consists of JAZ (FB), RAZ (FC) and am also currently discussing the purchase of another FB (if I can\'t conclude this it will be scrapped I fear).

My stable\'s quite big but full of junk. In the middle is old faithful, Gus. When I go in he opens one eye and says "what the feck do you want, we did our 12 miles last month".
