Yeah, someboby paid £325 sight unseen, just sent someone with a trailer to pick it up without ever seeing the car. They had to knock the rear blockwork wall of the barn down to drag the car out.
You\'re better off well out of it Mick, it\'s a money pit.

Looks like a glass roof on it but too far for me.

Quote from: David Nock;690136Right on top of youse two Ian and Keith....3 miles from Leek.......Electric Gates as well .....Poshies live here. Stone Lions a bit worrying, might be real ones inside.

No idea of Reg though short of phoning. Also the butler may be banned from giving it out.

this car now on Ebay £1000 start, no res.

Wondered if you had C979 RMV listed, red in colour with only 43,000 on the clock. Saw it on show at the Medway Dockyard Steam Exhibition the other month. No doubt the owner is a member of the sight and I just haven\'t noticed it on here yet.

Good Spotting Paul....That car was last noted at Gaydon show in 2002. It\'s got Bold RX7 flashes on the doors. Your post suggests it lives round the Kent area?

I\'ve had it as SORN for a while - glad it\'s come out to the shows. Pretty sure the owner is not on here - if you see it again perhaps ask him/her why not come on here?

I can confirm that the car no longer has the bold RX7 flashes on it. It was in mint conition though, unfortunately the owner wasn\'t about to have a chat.

I bought the MK1 and it is actually alot better than I thought it would be,the underneath is fine with no rust.
Panels need some attention and a decent paint job wouldn\'t go amiss.
MK1\'s are in my opinion the best 1st gen built, they handle and drive better than the later ones with less wishy washy steering.

Thanks for that Carl. As you will be well aware there\'s a real rarity value in 1st Gen Series 1 cars.

At the moment I\'ve only got noted 2 runners (and then only running on rare occasions - I think both are rallying in Ireland), 13 cars which are SORN or Projects, including yours, and then 3 unknowns. (Sure they exist but No Reg. for them).
