If the previous form on this motor is anything to go by I think the reserve will be quite high.

I think it\'s a real shame cause he\'s obviously put his so much effort and passion  into this car but I can\'t see it ever making the reserve.
Once you take the rotary out of a RX7, you take its soul out.

That\'s the one with the dented wing. If the write up on ebay is correct it sounds like a nice runner

i\'m going to bite as i think the silver series 3 is going to be a scrapper to be honest too many holes fallin in here and there. is there anyone up that way guys who could look see what the chassis is like for me??

Does that mean the exhaust off silver one would be for sale then? Sans headers as I got some I still got to pick up so headers back would be great.

I started the C reg up after taking the rotten backbox off and it was sooo loud but sounded great :)

not sure yet mate but will put it up on here if i don\'t need it, am still looking to source new pipe to make up a replacement system as i believe what people are charging for new systems is extravagant(excuse my spelling)

as David says, seemed mechanically good but bodywork tatty.

i\'ve said it before & i\'ll say it again.

Most important areas on 1st gens are body & chassis, anything mechanical can be fixed at reasonable cost considering the amount of scrappers around.

Howling sounds as the jackals sit round in a circle and the vultures fly overhead.

Dooooo let me know if you  break it Mick so\'s I can shift it to scrappers pile. I guess I\'m just the same.:2Rolleyes

Have a good look at the rust bubbles on the roof, ebay pic, there can be some real rust problems from the sunroof gutters.
  Good luck

yea did see those. was hoping it was just there thou, i\'ve got the silver up on ramps now wifes in first stages of labour going to get my screw driver to check for just how bad the underside rust is. there\'s more than enough in other places, need more time in the day if only i could pause time and pinch 3 hours a day to work on the cars...
was actually hoping for a series 2 with a decent chassis but that what it seems to be only hope..
think i\'ll have to settle for a series 3 and change the diff and front wheel stud pattern back to 4 x 110 got me a brand spanking new set of chrome modulars for my project ... not many modgies in the uk i bet however the brigdestone SF330\'s are proving very difficult to source as they stoped making em a couple or three years back might have to buy a car in nz to get the tryes i want seen one with what i want but the car is £2500 and thats a bit steep for 4 tryes especially with import duty and vat
