That\'s great Mark.
I\'ve the car No. on my Register from being spotted last August by Jono FD3 on here. You\'ve sorted out a problem for me because the owner was posting on Ex\'le last year without a pic or anything and I had thought he was in another car until today... Thanks mate.

Hope he finds a buyer for the car as it is, as he says he may break it if it doesn\'t sell.
It looks quite clean in the pics

Yes, Johno who spotted it (3 times he saw it) said it looked very tidy to him as it went past.
The front chassis and wheels want a sort out, otherwise it looks nice.

THE MAD KIWI

sorry to say shes goinging to be broken he said

"1985 FB is for sale, taxed until 30 April 2010. MOT until 7th May 2010.

Very good runner, a real pleasure to drive. Recent new fuel filter (Jan 2010).

Reason for sale is that I was going to touch up the nose piece due to some rust holes, and discovered that the front right chassis is corroded to such an extent that the bumper on that side was only just being held in place.

Do not have the time or inclination to repair.

Any reasonable offers welcome, willing to break and sell parts individually if I cannot sell the whole car.

85000 miles, all electrics working perfectly.

Petrol tank refurbished by Re-NU in Hartlepool in 2009."

so i think shes a goner

That\'s a shame, looked like a good one in the pics, another example of an fb hiding rust well.

Quote from: Ian65;669403I must say that opal green is my least favourite of all the 1st gen colours, but there again, I just hate green.
I\'d never buy a green car, full stop.
I know that there are some really clean opal green cars in the club and I can appreciate the work that goes into keeping them that way but it\'s not for me.
The other problem with them is that most of them appear to have interior colours that seem to clash with the paintwork. ie. brown...
Even if you respray the car a different colour, which again devalues it, you are still stuck with a dodgy interior colour.

I am really lucky with mine because Mazda ran out of brown at the end of the production run so my Opal Green car has a factory fitted black trim instead of the horrible beige trim it should have had.  Anyone else come across an Opal green car with the black trim?

Ive never seen black trim in a s2/s3 must be quite rare.
Keith...

Mazda class it as black but it\'s actually the grey trim that many of us have.
Having said that, whilst the seat and door card inserts are all the same grey material, the plastic trim differs between black, charcoal and grey, even though Madza still class them as black.

Sunrise red cars should have black trim but mines more greyish
Black cars should have black trim but mines a sort of mix of black and charcoal.

post a pic up of ur red rex\'s interior ian,see if it\'s the same colours as mine & A7RXY?
Our cars were near end of production run,so maybe they just fitted what was left in parts bin as in Daves car.
