What is the VRTax in Ireland,i\'ve heard it\'s higher than here.
You may be lucky & be able to get engine registered as a 1.3 due to it\'s 13b engine swap,others have done it.

northern ireland same as yourselfs if i brought this car south because of high immissions not sure if thats spelt correctly the road tax would cost more than bloody car

Mr Nock does seem to be a good chap,dose\'nt he,i take it,he sniffed out the details/history for you.
On anorak inspection of the photo\'s the body looks very good & wheels too,have fun with it.

It was the history Stu. The car on ebay that Gary\'s bought had no visible Reg but a Reg date was given. That\'s nothing in itself except the seller sold a Green S3 last year with exactly the SAME Reg date.
I phoned the seller on Gary\'s behalf and he gave me the Blue car Reg No. without hesitation.
Here\'s the fun, both cars WERE registered on DVLA on the same date. Now admittedly it\'s the 1st day of \'B\' Reg\'s for both of them, but in the whole 151 Series 3\'s that I\'ve got, only 1 other has that date.
What\'s the odds?? Massive I\'d say.
I asked a few other questions as well; the seller didn\'t like the Green car so bought/sold it quickly, this Blue car he\'s got from a friendly dealer who\'d got the 13B for it etc, etc, but the guy sounded right enough. Trouble is it\'s not easy to guess at condition from a distance is it?
Gary. It was a pleasure helping. Much as I didn\'t want to rubbish the seller in public, I didn\'t want anyone to get scammed. Difficult.
Hope it\'s as good as it seems to be.

I\'d be interested what carbs on the 13b under the standard air filter which is used on our 12a cars,probably nikki.
Should imagine u could fit a holley carb,but finding an inlet manifold?
Holleys easy to tune up & cheap.

Looks like a different seller. The car now seems to be in Worcestershire, whereas it was in Hertfordshire. A lot of owner changes.

I remember it from pistonheads a while back too-seems a bit strange to not renew the MOT before selling so methinks it\'s a touch rotton.

No I hadn\'t got it. Now added to Series 2 section.....Thanks Mick and a very warm welcome.

Series 2\'s so far amount to only 19 on the roads, 31 on SORN (or Project Cars), 7 unknown status....Total 57.
