How Many 1st Gens Still Running?

I\'d love to do that with all my old Motown LP\'s, but taking them to parties in the late 60\'s early 70\'s has put paid to that..............lots of background noises, must be the scratches.

You can edit quite a bit out Dibs but ideally you need a pristine album as a starting point.
These LP\'s I mention were an old guy\'s in Manchester. When he died his nephew was taking them to the dump but offered them to 1st comers instead.
Cost me 2 bottles of Vin Not Ordinaire (good stuff) but I\'m thrilled to bits with the quality coming off the software.

To answer the thread title,I hear from a reliable source there are 187 1st gens still on the road.Sounds about right.

Not to sure if you got this one on your list - i got it as a pair when i bought my first FB here in the UK. I stripped this one and it went to the scrappers.

We worked out on this forum that the KL\'s were Mazda\'s own registered cars. Their Tonbridge Wells HQ was in the Maidstone Registration area in the 1980\'s.

Mark---you were originally C921 EKL. Same difference, KL says a Maidstone car when new.

Licenced or Track Cars.......S3 49,.......S2 16,........S1 3,

SORN or Project Cars.........S3 66,.......S2 24,........S1 7,

Unclassified (No Reg Nos)...S3 23,.......S2 7,..........S1 2,

If you want an Excel Spreadsheet of geographically where most of these cars are in the UK  then drop me an email -- dgnock at btopenworld dot com
This list is by colour and rough location only by the way, no Reg numbers or exact places. I cannot uplink Excel to the Forum for some reason.
Your purple peril is in the 16 S2 runners above Tim.
I\'m told you often have quite a few 1st gens in your yard Tim. I\'d appreciate any details you can give me providing your customers would not object.

Blimy Tim, You\'ve given me indigestion sorting these out. I\'d already got a few, WEV as being Alan Rees\'s old car and B 677 AOG was saved from the scrapman in the late 1990\'s by a lady owner, Teri. I\'ll be a while here but I think it\'s safe to say you\'ve pushed Hampshire or Surrey out of the top spot county by county. Dorset is now a clear leader....Your 17 and Captain Biz\'s Neville makes 18!
