Thing is, if it was an old school ford like an escort or capri, and we were down to the last couple of hundred, we\'d be talking telephone numbers.
Seems a shame that a car as good in its day as a 1st gen is basically slipping away un-noticed.

A reg, A--WOM, all past Mot\'s, Mazda history, stunning original example, lady owner, loved and garaged, new engine fitted by Mazda done 46,000 miles, recently tuned by an RX-7 specialist who said it was the best hes ever seen. £4,300 ONO.

Went for a drive today and as Waterhouses isnt too far I thought i\'d have a look. I was hoping it was a minter but its far from it, has been tarted up in the not too distant past and will need tarting again quite soon.
Looks good from a distance though, I see it at £700 - £1000.

That\'s interesting Keith, it was up for £4300 to start with and eventually dropped to £3800.
I\'d want a show stopper for £4300!
Thing with white cars is they\'re easy to spray, look good when clean but nothing looks worse than a white car with rust coming through.
Shame really, I\'d have loved it to be a minter, there aren\'t many left.
By the way, the fan did the business for me. Had to drill the mount out to make it fit but it\'s all good now.

cheers,
Ian

I just purchased 2 7s today. yes 2
One is a b reg that is at first looks a bit tatty and I will make up my mind on that one once I get it home and up in the air to have a good look.
The other is BCD440Y. This has been in a lock up for the last 8 - 10 years. Its very dusty and has the od scratch and dent as would be expected but from what I could see it looks ok. And for the good part if it is good I am keeping this one and it will be restored properly and used properly.

Cant wait to see them, will we get some pics?

kiwimazda

Pics will be up as soon as I get them home. Just got to hide 2 cars from the wife.

Well, there we go eh? That shows that all that glistens is not gold. Shakespeare said \'glisters\' actually - he probably got the word wrong....!

I think what we need in MRC now Keith is a traveling car checker. Every car up for sale in UK gets a visit and a report back. :rollin:Typing

Thanks mate, hope you don\'t mind \'em going on register. I hadn\'t got BCD previously. (Not surprising if it\'s been hidden away). What colour is it please?
Also would you post or email me the Reg and Colour of the Series 3 Car?

That\'s to see if it\'s presently on the Register or not.

My G** the video... This car make me shine... A little more than my 13B first gen, but higher rpm... But it\'s an Euro car, so no LSD right?

I\'m fairly sure the owner hasn\'t fitted LSD Davide. An engine rebuild with porting and carburetor/ fueling modifications mainly. The TWR kit looks nice.

Hi David! All fine? :D
Yes, reading well the mod is just the engine, the price maybe could be better... But what aa sound! If it was a 86, could be a 84/85 drivetrain, so I could put a bigger USA LSD of the same year right?
I hope always to find the light blue USA with a/c and moonroof I saw times ago on Ebay :D
