Its odd that people get it so wrong at times. The cars obviously had lots of time and effort spent on it, but to me it just doesn\'t look right.

Been thinking for days about a value for that Red Devil.

I\'ve now started thinking Skif\'s got a point.....At just shy of 90,000 miles, £2500 might still be high, even though it ticked all the boxes for me.

We\'ll see in a bit....

on cars this old, milage doesn\'t really mean anything... it\'s all about condition.
There are plenty of cars being broken for spares with lower than average milage but they\'ve still rotted the same.
There aren\'t really enough cars left or for sale to  pick a low miler over a higher miler....
Much better to buy a well maintained car with with higher miles that\'s had everything done to it than a low mile example with perished rubbers and rusty bodywork.
I wouldn\'t pay a penny more for a low milage car unless it\'s overall condition justified it.

It\'s hard to assess a car from a picture...digital photos are the car sellers dream.... they make even the tattiest dog look nice ( apart from that orange monstrosity that Dibs likes!)

Might have dibs on it already but this was on the Irish Rotary OC this week:-

Make a good project? Unload that red S3 in Barrow into it and spray the lot red?

Wish I were younger.....

Quote from: Scott251;762951Hi There
Thought I should comment! Mushy Pea would have been a nice project but afraid it was just too far gone! I have had a lot of interest in the spares so at least they haven\'t gone straight in the crusher!

Hey Scott,

Did this car have a grey interior  by any chance??

Im chasing a glove box lid and centre console lid..

please let me know

Thanks

Scott251

They both have brown interior but I think they both have grey centre console lids but brown glove box\'s. I\'ll check them out if you want.

If you need any other bits http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160588413826&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_667wt_1139

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Scott do the S1\'s have manual windows?

Scott251

The green one defiantly does as have sold the drivers glass already, am pritty sure the grey one does as well but not 100% , is it just the window mechanism you wanted or the glass as well
