Hi David, you\'re right all in all JAZ has done really well - as I have always said there have been necessary areas but also more tlc in a lot of others. I\'m very pleased the way the old girl is coming along and hopefully in 4 - 6 weeks time she\'ll be ready for MOT time :eek. No worries about the pic - glad it can be of use. Cliff

ps. Remember me saying that I used to have yellow 1st Gen S1 Savanah import from Japan, photo attached and also another of JAZ with tailgate supported with timber until the struts were repaired.

Liam I went to RXMotors today to pick up a brake calliper and he has a series 3 up on his ramp at the moment that he "found" in his top shed (love that place) which I\'d guess he is prepping to sell. And it\'s white.

On my christmas list is a big shed that FB\'s magically morph from.

Already got one ........ it\'s called eBay.  Cliff

Morning Keith. Going back more years than I care to remember there weren\'t many brightly coloured cars round so it really did stand out from the crowd and a real head turner. My brother had a Triumph Stag @ the time and each time we met up he always wanted to drive her - felt great knowing a V8 fanatic was drooling over the Wankel powered beast. Love it.

Chatting with David Nock recently it turns out that a subsequent owner turned her RED and she disappeared from the records and has faded into history..... hmm wonder whether she finished up in the \'Top Shed\' @ RXMotors.

White Fb\'s look clean & fresh.
Amazing how well they hide their rust.

CHC (RIP)

Don\'t know whether this is true or not but many years ago I was told that a white vehicle had at least 7 coats of paint whereas darker/primary/metallic colours only had 3 coats.  If this is true it could explain why they tend to be more forgiving and don\'t show rust until it tends to be too late - by which time it has become quite a serious issue.

This happened with me when I bought JAZ on eBay - looked fine on the screen, looked reasonable even close up but if you hit it quite hard it sounded like a packet of crisps so I thought oops, break out the MIG set.

Moral of the story - just because it\'s white and looks okay, doesn\'t mean it is. Cliff

Thats good I\'m glad people have stopped giving these cars away, I hope they stick to their guns and don\'t break them.
