Screemer Pipe into Exhaust

So, I\'m thinking of using the RX for a few track sessions this year, but I know it will fail some track noise levels due to the screemer pipe.

I am contemplating having the screemer pipe replaced by a pipe welded in to the exhaust.

Current exhaust is 75mm diameter throughout without a centre silencer.
Will this modification effect the power of the car ?
Would you recommend changing the exhaust to one with a diameter of 90mm ?

Thanks
Chris

I think you\'ll be ok aslong as when the screamer pipe returns into the main exhaust at a shallow angle and so shouldn\'t restrict the flow.
Be interesting what the tuners advise on this one!!!

Perhaps more to the point, are you likely to pass noise regs anyway with a three inch straight-through pipe with no mid-box? Might be a lot of work only to still be too loud

you dont need to plumb it in. I run straight through 4" with 60mm wastegate with no screamer pipe so its straight to atmosphere.

I get on track everytime, the only noise test that most tracks do is the static test at 6k rpm and thye wastegate wont open when you take the test.

You might get pulled in on drive by if they are testing for that. Just drive past not on full boost lol
