Just a quick one. How high does the standard oil gauge needle sit when the car is on tick over? Mine was on 30psi lastnight (about 1/3rd up the gauge) Im sure it used to sit in the middle on around 50psi. When I accelerate it rose up to half way up the gauge so I could just be imagineing it.

15-30 is ok on idle, but it usually starts a bit higher when you first turn the car on.

It should rise as you apply more throttle ;)

Yeah i does. Think i\'m going mad really. Must be cause i\'ve not driven it for 3 weeks whilst I repaired it.

I get 30 or just over at idle on both mine but I did see a pic of an FC with 50 at idle but then he could have had a mod to increase the oil pressure ie a FD oil press regulator.
As long as it moves up between the 50/60 mark then all is fine. You may get higher but they are all dependent on mileage on the pump etc.

Think I was just worrying I\'d damaged it somehow when I bumped the car. All seems well though and it felt really nice to be behind the wheel of it again
