This system is a FCON/( IS) ECU THAT RUNS THE FULL fuel and ENGINE management system
HKS fcon/ IS, ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM now has been fully installed buy TDI LONDON

The HKS FCON (is), has been selected as the choice of aftermarket ECUâ€™s for the management of fuel and ignition timing for this application because it is comes with a high quality harness to make connectivity a simple operation, and it\'s level of quality and functionality is extremely high.

The main features of the FCON (is) :result of methodical testing it has been concluded that the HKS FCON (,is) is a cost effective optimum installation enhanced upgrade solution on the Mazda RX8.

the full figures and mapping results will become available ( these were posted 2010 after new engine installed )the figures from a before hks was fitted just the supercharger engine and remap (of six independent tests) and the after figures that TDI has done with the new hks system fitted the rest of the cars systems is still dealt with the cars original ecu there is quite a remarkable difference.

fuel economy UP in all areas

local and town driving is up to 24.6mpg (tested 2010/2011 ) new engine fitted

motorway/long runs 31.7 mpg (tested 2012 ) new engine fitted

A 25% faster processing speed HKS ECU IS THE FIRST PROCESSOR Mazda ECU runs the rest
Built in video output function to monitor engine parameters

Well had a few fuel delivery issues due to having the supercharger and other mods the fuel delivery has the odd flat spot or blip over 7500 RPM to 9250 RPM and now trying to combat this by adding a new type of fuel pump the one i gone for is the walbro 255

so i thought if any one needs to see a build thread then i would start one

so far i have the new walbro 255 pump and clive:god has donated his old set-up (with the old mazda fuel pump still in) now it needs to be striped out and replace it with the walbro 255 .

The first four photos are of the unit that clive sent and his pump striped out, and the walbro 255 kit. before its placement into the donor parts.

next week i will taking photos of fitting in the new unit into the donor parts and
once this is done more photos of striping out my unit and replacing the unit into
my car.
