Hi, i\'m new to the forum not sure if this is the right place to post. I\'ve got a completely stock UK third gen RX-7 (an I\'d like to keep stock) and one of the pipes on the back box has rusted and fallen off.:( Just wandered if anyone had a stock backbox for sale or one they didnt want, because I know most people upgrade them.

thanx Eddie

Cheers, I\'m trying to keep it stock but a stock backbox seems harder to get hold of than I thought, and Mazda want to charge the earth for one. I will keep you in mind for the backbox.
Thanx Eddie

do you think it would be weldable Eddie? My lad has done mine before now, mines not standard and it looks like a patchwork quilt! but i have a Dolphin to fit in it\'s place Bob

if its rusted and fallen off then theres a chance the metal behind id has too so it would be best to get a new back box, if you really wanted to weld it it probably would be best to chop the other one off and make up a plate the same shape as the face of the rear silencer, then weld the exhaust tips onto that but again eventually youll have the same problem with the rust

Considering we started a journey with both exhaust tips, and finished the journey with only 1 tip, I don\'t think welding it on is going to be an option! :D

Eddie i\'ll give you the number for Tim at RX motors, he\'s bound to have one. :)
