Why does Steve\'s car show as class x non road legal ??
I have notcied one thing about Tim, he only goes quick when he\'s racing me, all other times he\'s the purple snail.

I think its becasue its running the ET Streets. But I think it should be in the steet class, as its full interiour, MOT\'d etc.

surely for it to be in the street class it would have to be completely legal to drive it straigt off the track and onto the road without any chages ie drag tyres etc?

So long as the car has MOT and road legal you can run in classf, ET streets do have a tread so technically a street tyre, maybe because silver snail was running Drag front runners which are not street legal he had to run in Class X

Bit like the rx7club forum where they 700+ the wheels and still cutting 10\'s all the people think they\'re heros.
Someone puts up a post about Chris running 9\'s and there\'s hardly and replies.
Had that been on of there own with 120,000bhp at the wheels they would of made the thread a sticky and celebrated them like they had just come back from Iraq or something.

yep this is so true, but I think they are scared of the Impey as it might steal there IRS crown hence the silence.
Silversnails car is specced up to give a low 9 if the traction is there

I had to enter class x because of the tyres,even if you have mt et streets,they wont allow you into the street classes,they would have to be the radial version.I have a full roll cage but it isnt welded in,rear seats,carpet,dash,etc is standard.
The car is carrying alot of weight compared to the other top rx"s in the country,combined with the size of the turbo its taking alot of shifting off the line,when we can keep the turbo spooling off the line and get the necessary grip,the car will run 9"s.
A while ago brian,i saw you ask on rx7club about 2 step,how did you get on,this could be the next step:cheers

Login not changed,but new avatar.The wind was ridiculous,so much so i had a little incident on the way home,part of the car blew off,fortunately it was recovered and can be repaired,F*cking weather if its not raining,its something else,fingers crossed for rotorc0ck
