...Anyone on here ??...I often see you (and exchange a complimentary wave) between dorking and Brockham..

:wave :wave :wave

You don\'t realise just how nice these cars look.......until you see another one coming in the opposite direction !!:cool

Martiny

Ah...!!

So you have to have an RX-8 to get an RX-8 driver to wave back ??

Is this the answer to the "Why dont they wave back?" dilemma?

Leeman

From reading a few posts on here I can see your point - but not all of us new RX8 owners are unsociable chaps......

....I too get blanked by other RX8 owners when I pass them (just this morning in Weybridge, I glanced over to see another titanium 8 right next to me and got......................nothing back).

It boils down to the individual, I agree that people should be vetted before being aloud to purchase a rotary (a personality must be the minimal requirement at least)...

Hi Lee ?,

I know RX-8 owners are not unsociable, l had a play with one a month or so ago on the M25 [ Surrey ]

Bit of speeding up n slowing down and a thumbs up before l roared off !!!

l have posted this before, please be gentle and considerate with our new RX-8 owners and potential long term enthusiasts, because where a lot are coming out of their Peugeots Focuses etc it means that when an RX-7 pulls up along side, just remember  that they may not as yet even know what your car is or why you are franticly waveing at them!!!!

Give it time and the real fans of these cars will want to know a little more about how their wonderful car evolved.

Enter MRC [Hopefully]

:) :) :)

BTW have you seen the news posted here about the new RX-8 model:)

I agree,
Last night whilst removing my plugs (flooded) next doors friends turned up in a silver RX8.
Matey asked me what I was upto and asked what car it was.
I felt the need to educate him on the parentage of his car and he was v.suprised when I told him.
He actually prefered the looks of the RX7 to his!
You should have seen the look on his face when he asked me what all the bits n bobs were on the side of the engine
\'Thats two, yes TWO turbos mate\' i replied
\'oooer, I guess its a bit quicker than mine then\' he said
I think i will get a wave off him next time i see him out n about!

Tee Hee......

...I was just kidding :D .......I think it is fantastic that the number of drivers who are being converted to the way of the rotary is constantly on the up, it can only be a good thing.
