upgrading my brake system

i will not be allowed to raace with abs so will have to take it off thinking of fitting a pedal box assembly

Yep, ABS still working, kicked in a few times today at Rockingham!

Brakes seemed fine for 20 min sessions, needed a bit of heat, but then on the way home I\'m getting a massive knocking noise and vibration in the brake pedal, so dunno what that is!?

Sounds like pad build up on the disk from the pads. go over them with some emery and it should sort it

Cheers mate. Had a look at the discs today, couldn\'t see anything untoward from the outside, but yeah, it sounds like it must be that cos the car still stops, so it can\'t be anything too major!

Nice conversion mate, looks expensive and sounds like considerable hassle though!

I have now identified a cracked front disc, exact cause unknown, but clearly due to overheating.
