well as some of you know i got a rebuild about 5-6 month ago, anyways after the very boring 1000mile run in and getting it mapped, it then turned out that my turbos were on there way out and they go so bad about 3 month ago i could not really drive it!

also while my car was off the road and not getting used much the battery kept going flat, anyways my car was at lindop for the past two weeks getting a new set of twins fitted along with other bits and bobs!

i got a train booked for today to go down and pick it up, on my way down i rang lindop to let them know they could set off to pick me up from Chester train station.

as i was just about to get to Chester train station, i got a call from them thinking it was them to tell me they where there ready and waiting But that turned out not to be the case, it was to tell me that while they where out mapping my car, something serious managed to flatten a brand new battery making the fuelling go from rich to lean then back to rich to very lean within seconds causing it to blow a tip off the rotor!
meaning i had to get on the next train home :(

with lindop being the good people they are, i don’t have to pay anything apart from the money i own them from the last 2 weeks work they have done and a few hours labour charge for finding this electrical problem minus the train ticket home!

the only thing i really hate, is knowing i am going to have to do another 1000 mile run in! :Nono!

Bad times, dude. I bet a few of us will know exactly where you\'re comin from, just when you think its all good, the car kicks you where it hurts. I certainly feel your pain. :yes

But, on the plus side, at least it looks like Lindop are squaring you up ok, and its possibly better for this to happen when they\'ve still got the car rather than when you\'ve taken it miles back home and then havin to pay to trailer it back or something.

I know that\'s probably scant consolation, but just trying to find a slim silver lining :Thumbs-up

yeah i know mate! am just please with how lindop have gone about it :) also another good thing is i am not going to be using a **** load of petrol when its getting fixed.

it seems like these cars push you past the edge, as i was thinking about getting rid, but i know as soon as i get back in it there is going to be another massive smile on my face!

I\'d echo this sentiment if it had to go it was better when it did than as you got home.
