got a question please Rex 7 gen 3 single turbo ,going to uprate the rad to a larger size , the AST from a plastic to alloy one but my question is the top up tank on left hand side by the headlight is that really needed can i remove it , i don\'t really see the point of it or is it to top up when the coolant drops car wont be used on the road eventually but track usage / race  any help in keeping it cool would be greatly recieved have already fitted new water pump ,thermostat , was thinking about water injection on turbo any ideas would be great , thanks

Its just the expansion tank mate or overflow whatever you wanna call it

can i get rid of it then run in effect a sealed system
