Hi guys :) I was just wondering about this, regarding coilovers and indeed any other suspension part, are the suspension parts ie the layout of the bolts and such the same as any other car such as an MX5. I know that some parts can be directly swapped from other cars as the same parts have been used for cars of the simular age. I was just wondering if this was the case for the FC sharing parts with an MX5 or other Mazdas as if they were, coilovers might be cheeper :)

Been trying to work that one out when i pay my local scrap yard visits. Will be going there tomorrow to get a nice plastic tank for my pre-mix oil so will have a look.  I look at anything Jap as quite often they do share things around.  Another thing I do is make a note of the part number, put that in google and you will be surprised at what it churns out. works well on filters and consumables and sometime the difference is only the model of the car ie RX7 and there can be quite a saving.  We do pay for the name on the car.
