If I told you the spec I would have to kill you :spank

Thanks to Gary you can now see my graph, the dark lines are the current torque and RWHP the lighter ones are from my old turbo, comments please :p

John.. That looks really good. I cant imagine the differance that you would feel in that.

What blower is it out of interest. Im amazed at how linear the HP line is. Its almost on a 1:1 scale. Its hard to see on the pic where the tq and hp cross but i presume its on a auto scale. Is there any chance of a larger copy for reasearch porpose.....

its a bit small,  what is the torque figure john?
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Scott, its a hi-bred T4, I tried posting a bigger version but it would not let me, give us your e-mail I will forward you a bigger version. The difference is fantastic, the expected sweet spot for the turbo is about 1.4 -1.6bar this is at 1.15 :eek

Ant : Approx 330ftlbs ATW dont know if you do the 18% to get fly my guess is you do so that would make it about 390ftlbs

Went up to WGT on Saterday for a map clean up. Did several runs with the following results.

Warm up run - 331ath on 0.58bar @ 6000
Clean up run - 363ath on 0.59bar @ 7000
                  - 383ath on 0.75bar @ 7300
                  - 394ath on 0.87bar @ 7300
                  - 403ath 0n 0.89bar @ 7300

I had to increase fuel slightly at 6500 to level the torque curve a bit, as it was still climbing. We have not found where the engine is making it\'s peak power, as the steel seals limits how high we can rev the engine. As the graph shows, power and torque are still climbing above 7300rpm!
I will put a few more miles on the engine, and might have a look at running over a bar.

As it stands at the moment, i have achieved my goal of building an FC to produce 400BHP per tonne. The car weighs in at just under 1200kg, with engine power at 475atw.

Saw several sevens in the workshop, Marks and Doms included. After mapping went to Oulten park to support Stacey Vickers and Dave Nixon. They won all their races, with Stacey busting a gearbox, giving us under 15 minutes to change it as well as refuel and re-tyre!

A good weekend, and many thanks to Pip.

The two set of thin lines on the graph are for the old 13BT engine running 0.75bar. The difference can be seen in how linear the power is now in comparison.

Hi John!

Long time eh?

Nice power readings there mate! Well we\'ll have to see what I can get from mine with a bigger FMIC and a T70 turbo!

Good to hear, give me a shout if you need a hand with anything, as i am now only down the road.

Nice linear line, Torque build is especially encouraging. Fantastic to see an FC on the edge of the 500s. Looks like attention to the upper rev range has paid off. Looking good

cough cough,   FC,  not quite  :Nono!

Well done, excellent results, especially at that boost. :god

I think you need to explain your full spec to some though:D

Well it is an FC really, not sure what block you are running these days though John? I\'m looking over the last lot of pics and it looks like a 13b RE ? Is this right? nice job anyway!

Cheers for the offer of a hand, the car is down with Tim though and will be for some time!
