Hey guys, just thought id introduce myself and my car. I just bought this 1990 Turbo II having just sold a 1990 siR Civic CRX. I love it so far! Lol! Never owned a Mazda before, far less a rotary so i\'ll need to do a lot of sluthing around here for tips and tricks.

I\'m in two minds wheather or not to put a GP Sports body kit on it though (been onto the Replikit boys about that) because the bodywork is so nice and original as is.

Defo want to up the power a touch and put on some Rota GTR alloy wheels :mmmm on though! so watch this space!

Brett

Looks to be in nice condition, whats the mileage/history like?

Hi, wotcher and welcome :Thumbs-up. Lovely looking car, I love TII coupes in black, they just look proper hard! No need to worry about being new to the world of rotaries, I was too until I bought my first RX-7, basically because it was pretty. There\'s everything you need to know on this site, and if you can\'t find it yourself, someone will tell you the answer

just one question......have you ever been experienced?! :Giggle Or are you a voodoo chile?

Jimi_Hendrix

Bret, the milage has just roled onto 60,000. With a bit of service history as well. Seems to be in good nick yes! Absoloutley no rust anywhere though there does seem to be evidence of some minor rust repair around arch areas.

Thanks Nik, Yeah total Rotary n00b! Lol! Always admired them from afar though so now is the time to dive in head first!:) And in answer to your question? I am of cource an uber experianced Voodo chile! After all..... i wrote those songs! :D

Nik da Greek

Blimey! Truly, I am not worthy! :god You\'re holding up remarkably well, if I may be so bold, for someone who died the month I was born! Or was that Jim Morrison? I forget now....

Never mind your car mate (which is very lovely btw:Thumbs-up and welcome to the club:wave) do you fancy giving some guitar lessons to a very willing student?? :D:D

2. Oil...mineral...change reglarly...keep checking the levels
3 Coolant good...no coolant bad :)
4. 99RON or high octane fuel only, performance car, performance fuel
5. Cool the turbo down before shut down
6. Do all the safety mods before boosting higher (fueling, Ignition brakes)
7. Enjoy :D

Welcome to the forum and nice FC you have there. If your gonna be driving it around over winter I would advise getting it wax oiled underneath to stop all the salt from our roads eating it away.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Like your thinking adereed! I defo want to look into some sort of galvanising/undersealing and all round rust protection before the dreaded "red devil" rears its arse ugly head! :reallymad My poor little CRX was starting to sucumb to it in the end!!

Hey Retro_Boy_G i\'m in Glasgow too! :Thumbsup! Or rather just skirting the edge of it. I live in Bishopton near Erskine. Where are you? I NEVER see any other FC\'s or FD\'s!

Retro_Boy_G

Ahh, i\'m on the other side of Glasgow then.. a place called Hamilton. I\'ve seen an FD about here but never an FC. We need to meet up sometime.. would be good to get some pics together.
