Funny running issue

Owned my rx7 for around 1 week and a half and its been brillant , But after fitting a decat pipe instead of a cat i\'ve had a intermittant fault . I did a 100 mile round trip on the way there it was its normal self , But on the way back i noticed a knock every time you used the brakes , Didnt think much of it . Assumed it was the exhaust being abit loose , Checked undernearth when i got home and its all connected OK and theres no sign of any parts of it knocking on anything.
 
To top it off when i started it earlier the whole car was shaking on idle , The gearknob was all over the brake and it was vibrating down the steering wheel etc etc. But was fine when i moved it back into the drive  only when its idling does it do it . But not everytime you drive it infact its only done it once or twice and it feels unsafe.
 
Its pretty much standard except for a cat back blitz, straight tho midpipe and some Koni adjustable shocks.
 
 
The car had a rebuild at Hayward Rotary about 2 and a half years ago and has only covered 8000 miles so i hope its not serious :mad:

Has the car been fitted with an Apexi ecu? has it been mapped? general opinion i believe is to fit a decat pipe air filters etc , only when the car has an Apexi that can be mapped, it sounds as though this problem started after you fitted the decat pipe! what did you did you do with the cat sensor wires? (under drivers seat) is the heat light on? the knoking might be to do with the decat pipe if it\'s only just started!
Is yours the black FD? reg- RX1 *** that i saw near hurn the other day?

I just tucked the sensor to one side , No heat light came up . Just what someone told me to do
 
 
Yeah a guy called chris told me about the need for a Apexi ECU , Its only been driven to get around as little boost use as possible . I thought that would be OK , Will it :xconfused . If not ill just leave it in the drive
 
But it seems to be running really rich , always popping and banging on idle and normal driving . Rotor engines confuse me

not to worry, i often see FD\'s around and think it sad they may not even know about MRC! you should be ok pottering around off  boost, from the sound of it the decat could be why it\'s seems to be running rich!
