no sqeeling at the minute mate, lathered the backs of the pads in coppergrease coz this seems to help, i paid £750 delivered from new zealand and it took 3 days to get here!!! how quick is that! takes 3 days to get something delivered from 20 miles away!! haha

did the tax man take a share of that?

m1tch

Bit of luck you didn\'t look on the endless site as they have 12 pot brakes lol

SiH

You need to make sure you keep these clean dude - Unless they\'ve changed the design, they don\'t have any dust seals, just fluid seals, so are succeptible to grit and corrosion affecting the pistons.

cheers for the heads up mate its always good to know some prone problems i might come across

as for the tax man i aint heard anythin as yet but am sure i will do soon, they stung me when i bought some mirrors from the states and thought i got away with it till they sent me a letter 2 months later!:Grrr

Am I right in thinking you\'ve got those discs on the wrong rotation ???
I believe the idea is that the air is picked up in the groove and thrown outwards to disperse the heat and any dust created by the pads trapped in the groove is thrown out likewise.  The way that discs is rotating any air picked up by the outer groove will transmit the heat back to the centre of the wheel !!

turbo boy

Nice brakes, did you get them off ebay? I`ve always been tempted by these because their so cheap compared to other brands. How big are the discs? Are they 8pot front 4pot rear? Time to start saving then.

leeincivic

cheers kris, gonna have to sort out a new battery before i take it out coz its stuffed:2Mad will have to go up to a meet or sumfin soon tho before the weather gets any worse

going off the manufacturers instructions the disc is mounted as i have done, i have seen a few pics tho that have them the other way tho,

yeah i did get them off ebay, i have just got the 330mm rotor up front and will be getting the 6 pot rears soon, at the min i have just got the stock rears coz they seem to cope well enough,

the grooves are pretty irrelavant...you need to check the orientation of the vanes....
Definately want it mate but the dog has just died so will be getting the missus a new dog for christmas....
Sounds like a good deal but will have to ask the dragon first.....  :flamed  :spank

DR SCHNITZEL

ive go a couple of batteries knocking round my garage mate, you can use one of these, if you want. as far a rotation goes, the way they are on your car looks the right way for max performance, looks like you would generate more friction that way.
