Hello once again Guys,
Now that the front canards are fitted I am starting to look to the rear.:D And currently pondering/dreaming of fitting ReAmemiya carbon rear diffuser with bowtech generators (like on Whifbitz time attack Rx). just wondered how low you guys are sitting and still getting away with having this fitted without busting them (there not the cheapest thing in the world to leave on a speed bump). If you don`t mind popping out some time and having a measure it would be greatly appreciated (no rush as the car will be garaged for the winter at the end of September). here is a pic of where i have measured.

Jit

not an ideal measurement for you dude..but i had a 25cm gap between my arch and tyre at the top of the tyre. The tyre was a 265/35/18
With that height setting it didnt rub on speedbmps....JUST....it did catch slightly on some VERY large bumps in London but i dont think you wil find many of them out in the sticks

Will this fit with your feed arches Gary? it also looks close to the exhaust.  I do like it though, finished in satin black, or maybe get one of our carbon experts to make a copy-ish

I\'ll go out and measure mine tomorrow, its pretty low and doesn\'t rub on the back, only the front bumper on occasion and midpipe lol! Although it will depend on your damping suspension wise, mine is pretty hard as its setup for track usage so there is only a 1" compression with my spring rates.
Cheers

that is the nicest rear defuser i`ve seen, oh that in lovely carbon wounld be brill
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

mattfduk

if you mail me matt.wiltshire @ peugeotmail.co.uk i will get some pics of mine as its low like bens and no issues mate will measure aswell

Initial-D

Mine is at 49 cm height (measured to your pic) and the diffuser has 14cm of clearance from the underside to the ground.

I have raised the rear coilovers up 2cm (when I changed my tires) and even when it was lower the diffuser didn\'t rub.

mattfduk

mine is the same as bens but i am going lower still!

FEED Addict

Thanks Guys, looks like i have something new to save up for!!

Initial-D

We should have a \'Whos is the lowest\' comp!
I run my front pretty low with about a 2" gap - can just squeeze over most speed bumps!

Maybe one for next years Rotorstock, limbo RX competition!!
Mine`s just enough to get on a toe truck with a bit of wood under the wheels!
Have caught the front once or twice this rear.

mattfduk

ok ben your on! going to have to swap the 99 nose to something lower anyway, lets see how lower it will go!

I think mine sits similar to this (it\'s pretty damn low), but the front edge of my sideskirts seems to sit even lower as I\'m forever catching that on the narrow speedbumps as the front wheel drops off them (even if the front bumper doesn\'t catch).

I definitely think you should get the diffuser Gary, even if it\'s just to make me more jealous of the way your car looks :rollin

Joking aside though, I think it would complete the "look".

Initial-D

Ohh that sounds pretty low indeed od404! No air suspension cheating here though please (for those that can), it has to be the height you drive the car around at!! ;)
Cheers
