Finally ofter 2-3 long months of the fd not starting i now have it back up and running, i changed the battery and plugs and it still wouldnt go, all it was was the battery clip that goes on the negative end of the battey was broken and not gripping the battery properly so i adjusted it and tightened it up and to my amazment it started, i couldnt belive it, something as small as that was stopping it form going. Took it for a good thrash yesterday and cained £10 in 10 miles

well first i had a duff battery, then it wouldnt start again so after a few weeks i though id change the plugs, but after i got a new batt it must have been cos the battery clip was broken and wasnt on properly

yeah it was killing me, ive had to use my gold gti to drive everywhere and people keen trying to race me in it.

yeah theres not many round here either, rich has got a silver one at the mo driving around, and theres a standard red one somewhere. mines black 92 re a front bumper, touring style spoiler
