I\'m thinking about running standard 16" fd wheels with a smaller profile tyre. Apart from the speedo being out 7%, the car being physically lower to the ground, and quicker acceleration/lower top speed - are there any other things i should consider?

Any affects on handling etc?

For info, I have a coilover set-up with the car sitting pretty low.

Cheers,
Alex

Not really sure what the benefits would really be. The wheels would take up less room in the arches and wouldn\'t look very good either.

Are you sure you won\'t scrape if you drop it down too much ?

I\'m considering smaller tyres on the FD rims but more because they will be going on the FB if I uprated the brakes and went 5 stud.
