sorry for my ignorance but ive never had a clutch go on me before.
right i was doing a burnout today at drag strip was losing revs in rd so dipped the clutch to get revs up again.when i disengaged the line lock car struggled to move. i managed to nurse the car home. i can engage gears no probs but it now seems like there is no bite point once rolling it seems ok but when you get to about 3000 revs the clutch will start slipping ie:revs will go up but the car isnt going any faster. My question is two-fold is it time for a new clutch and if so what would you recomend for the power i am running. its used mainly on the road & dragstrip
Thanks

We run an OS Giken twin plate in our triple rotor and will have one going on our FC.

There are three twin plate options:
Pressed steel cover
Billet Ally cover
STR twin plate

Varying prices for varying conditions. I know i have asked before but whats the car mostly used for???

lee mills

used mostly for road & drag racing. I know the os giken would probably be the best bet but just seems like an awful lot of money for a clutch imo
surely there must be some middle ground somewhere

Perhaps check out the mazda rotary parts store :)

Also regarding the price for the clutches, the options are you either spend a bit more on a good clutch that will be able to take the power from the car, or buy cheaper clutches that will keep failing meaning that it will cost you more in the long run with replacements and fitting.

lee mills

ok so it seems like an os giken twin plate clutch is my best option. Th next question is where is the cheapest place to get one
Thanks
