Whislt refitting my radiator after Geff repaired it, I discovered to my horror that the bottom radiator hose was almost flattened because its the wrong one for the car!  I cut it shorter and it now looks much better. Since then, however, I have read in the Racing Beat catalogue that our bottom hose is supposed tohave a spring in it to prevent it from collapsing.

Can anyone here verify this?

Is it supposed to have a spring?
Does your car have it?
Is it another "from Mazda only" jobbie?

Thanks!

Grizzly

My car has got a ss spring in the Botom hose but i\'m not sure if its standard.

I have now had enough of the long hoses going on me so i have cut the ends off and fitted ss pipe.

This is Alf\'s car but you get what i mean about the Pipe\'s. Look at his Top rad hose (he has done the same as me got rid of lots of Rubber pipe and replaced it with SS hard pipe)

I guess it would only work with good engine mounts (i guess it would reduce the Movement it would give)
