Having the twin system can be good for HP as long as the twin pipes join at the right length from the downpipe/mid section.  This can either give you more or less torque and is very much noticeable.
car is going to be awsome and I am so glad that the FC\'s at the moment are so very popular.

There is no join. True dual all the way through :driving

now thats interesting, how does that compare against a \'joined\' system? I suppose at least having a chamber have its own pipe will mean it will not affect the other. Think maybe in a piston car thats quite crucial and sometime a little back pressure can be useful but in a rotary we want to get all those gases out as quickly as possible.

There have been a few discussions on here regarding two singles vs a 2 into 1.  It seems that the two singles gain less total power, but create a different exhaust note - making it easier to get around track day regs. (The true twin system also gives a wicked idle noise :Giggle)

thats what i was confused about, though i hear you do gain more power if your running a bridge port, maybe a street port?

She\'ll have a large street port so we\'ll have to wait and see for the dyno i suppose. Dispite the engine going i\'m building this one after hours as its my daily car so i need it on the road. Few days she should be rolling again.

Not totally finished the rebuild yet but here is a sneak peak

sorry for being newbish. But apart from an air filter, whats the difference between the throttle bodies and a standard set up? Looks like you get more air in but theres no afm which confuses me :P

A microtech setup or similar you dont need AFM\'s the ECU will sort that.  With a setup like something above you are getting as much air as possible without restrictive pipes and bends etc.  Nice clean air getting straight to where its needed (as long as you have a good intake). Its cleaner, easier and should give more BHP than a standard intake design.

ah right, aftermarket ecu i see.

thanks for that. what kinda extra power can throttle bodies make over a standard aftm+ filter setup?

We will be running a greddy Emanage ultimate on this one. To he honest as with the other mods we have never run a set up like this before so increases in BHP i couldn\'t comment will have to wait for run in and dyno for full details!

As above the Stock in take has lots of bends, filters/butterflies for the air to get through so the flow is slowed and not at its optimum. This way is much cleaner and can flow more than the stock item.

i see, im wishing i could do this to mine now!!
