Either that, or use the \'wool tuft\' test thing ;)

Although, getting close enough to monitor the wool right at the base of the windscreen / under the trailing edge of the bonnet might be a bit tricky :D

Talk of the wool tuft test reminded me of this...

Quote from: lockwood77;512146There was some debate about lifters in a recent Intake Temps thread, if you mean the ones that lift the back of the bonnet, it seemed that they could actually hamper airflow.

Oh... maybe I\'ll just have to buy the FEED bonnet then... damn  :Giggle

you need to spend some money on the car if you want it to perform out on track. a proper set of pads and fluid is realy the first thing anybody should do if there car is heading out on track. i my self am using castrol SRF and after 15 flat out laps of mondello in the timeattack i get zero brake fade.they way it should be. if your confdent in a car you will get alot quicker times.  as for the pads im usung ebc yellow. i have been told they where ****e but running them in my 8 pots they are well up to the job.

im running a greddy spec m FMIC and a koyo n flow rad. and my water temp afetr many laps never sees over 86-87 tops. most of the time its 85. my intake temps are a little hi as i have no cold air feeds to my turbo.

car is about 400 hp

have you got a vented bonnet or other custom cooling...

how do you stop the oil getting so hot?

if your water temps are 10 degrees lower, the oil will be 10 degrees lower (roughly)
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
