Hi

I thought it would be a good ask idea to ask what you would like trophies for instead of choosing them myself. http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxmk696YYGB%2526i%253D12%252F12%255F1%255F28%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank">http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_1_28.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0">http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D12%252F12_1_28/image.gif">
Serious suggestions only (I know you would all like to win a trophy for the best rotary) http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxmk696YYGB%2526i%253D36%252F36%255F1%255F21%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank">http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_21.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0">http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_1_21/image.gif">

Hmmmmm,

we dont want too many trophies as can get confusing, also a bad idea on people voting at the show as per issues last year.

I think.

1 - Best of show
2 - Best original
3 - Fastest rotary
4 - Most improved rotary ???? maybe ???

And just have a few designated folk choose the winners but cannot vote on their own rotaries, i can put myself forward for this as dont have a rotary at the mo :p

Definitely need a pre-appointed panel of judge types to keep this fair and open. Maybe a small trophy for "furthest distance travelled to attend"? Always seem to have one of those at bike shows I\'ve been to, but never at car shows. Not sure why. What aboput "most esoteric flavour of Magic Tree"? OOOooops, it says serious suggestions only, sorry!

We can do this several ways,

1 We already have tied up with the Jap n Crazy club who will be non biased judges on our behalf as they did for us last year when they picked the best Show n Shine cars on our behalf after I felt there were too many Rotarys entered for MRC to be able to choose,

2, Fill in slips as we have done at many meetings, however this went badly wrong last year when somebody grabbed handfuls, got his mates to fill em in then bragged about it!

3 , Or as Nik has suggested, you decide among yourselves who you want as judges for your own cars,
All the best Clive
