1988 FC sell as whole or break for parts..

Hey all,
My rx7 egi has finally given up the ghost after fitting more parts and the car still overheating, i cant justify the cost of an engine rebuild so car is going to be selling as a whole or breaking for bits...
Just wondered if it was worth breaking it for parts or just selling the hulk of the car in one piece?

The car is an (arctic silver) 1988 EGi, basically it seems to me the waterseals have gone on the engine as I recently finished fitting new water pump, thermostat, fan and rad on the car as a last ditch attempt to fix but sadly its still got the same symptoms as before and I\'m not surprised as it had gotten overheated quite a few times.
Engine is partially apart again (rad out and pulleys etc) at the moment and not driveable at all.
Interior is in ok condition but not great, rear wiper doesnt work (switches). Car shell itself is pretty rust free, aside from some cosmetic rust on the rear arches and a few small dings (ill put pics up if you want). Car hasn\'t been driven much since it past its last MOT which had no issues, just been parked up in my garage since it was overheating! Has combi black diamond discs all round which should be in good condition still too.

Anyone on here interested in this? Thought id put it here to see if any interest anyway, if theres interest, or interest in breaking i\'ll put it in the for sale ad section with pics..

When I finish work tonight I\'ll get some pics for you, anything in particular you want to see?(close up). I\'m probably looking for a few hundred for it, but I\'m open to offers, bear in mind it would need trailering away, and is sorn (no tax) I\'ll double check on how long it still has an MOT for too.

In the pics, there is no steering wheel, but I do have that, my momo one has come off thos so i can chuck the original one back on easily enough. or leave it in the boot, either or heh!

Engine pic is current and as you can see some parts are currently missing, but I have them all, they are currently in the boot, all bolts are still there too!

Right hand side of the exhaust has dropped a bit I just noticed, probably a hanger has broken off or something

the arches show the rust on there, but it doesnt go any further than what it looks like there

I stupidly forgot to get pictures of the door sills/jams but there dont appear to be any signs of rust there at all

sunroof doesn\'t work (surprise surprise - it never did)

umm. the rear seats aren\'t great, a bit lifted up, sorry no pics of them, and if i recall there are some marks/burns on them (from the owner before me). the fronts are ok though

no stereo fitted, and no front speakers, the rears which i never used, are blown, spolier has some slight cosmetic flaws in the paint (bubbling - even tho i dont think the spoiler is metal) but its never bothered me, looks ok.

rear tyres are quite new, should have some life in them yet, they are cheap tyres though, front ones are probably quite worn
just checked the MOT too and it ran out yesterday, d\'oh!

hope thats enough info, cant think of much else..
oh yeah one front wiper missing, two have snapped off on me while driving, have another spare.

yeah anyway, im in warwick, dont know anyone who has a trailer either :\'(

i had planned to break it but had no real interest so the car has been scrapped. Bit of a bummer really as the car itself didnt have any rust, interior was ok and aside from the engine having knackered water seals it all worked fine. sorry cant help now tho guys!
