nah i just had the stock intercooler. im changing the stock rad for a koyo when my buddy gets back from the states with it.

thanks for the kind words.:)

looks really good, nice and neat.   just make sure that you block up any holes, both at the sides and between the rad and the i/c,  you want all the air that goes in the front of the car to have to go through the rad or the i/c.  The air will take the easiest route.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

can you help me do mine. yours looks awsome. :(
fduk.

karl_tate

looks good, i want to do mine, where did you get the intercooler and how much was it??

as said block any open ends off.

also do something with the fuse box, cables ties are a no no lol

well done that looks spot on...the end result of your hard work is worth it:chat isn\'t it.

You can remove that fuse box and cable tie it under the slam panel.  It will fit there nicely + did you extend the wiring loom for the fans?

well done again:god

:) cheers guys. yeah i still have my ducting and relay box left to finnish off. think im going to just fabricate some brackets and mount the relay box where it is. mainly for ease of access. ducting looks pretty easy and i was thinking of having a adjustable dividing plate between the rad and intercooler. mainly to prevent heat soak whilst sat in traffic. this work is going to take place after jap show though.

the intercooler cost me £200 off egay. its a nice big bar and plate design. looked like it should flow, cool and fit well so i thought i would go for it.

well once it is complete i could make some brackets up for you. its **** easy. all i needed to make was 7 simple brackets and it fits great. if you are going to jap show i can show you what i have done. i will be on the tengoku racing stand.

yes i had to lenghten my wires for the fans. just used some 2.5mm tri rated. plenty good enough.

thanks again for the kind words.:)

hi adam,

that would be awsome. I will catch up with you at Japshow. I want to do it with a trust FMIC but just out of pure fear ive missed out on the last two that came up for sale.

I can do engines and mechanics but when it comes to changing something that isnt like for like i struggle mostly from the fabrication angle.

I need to put a wanted add up for help also but if you did fancy making a bracket set or something id be more than happy to pay you for your trouble. I suppose then the ali welding problem starts :(

my number is 07900 575 124 anyway - try to catch you at the pod. :)

sure thing mate. it would be easier to talk to you about it in person, just makes things easier. making the brackets for mounting the rad is easy. when it comes to the intercooler, i carnt just knock up a kit unless i see the intercooler as it will be different size, fitment etc to mine. this is my car. look out for me at the weekend and come have a chat.

Thats great work bud. You\'ve made this look quite simple (famous last words). And cable ties FTW!
The ducting should be an easy job, but the adjustable dividing plate has me intrigued, how would you control that? And would it affect air flow under normal driving conditions, i\'m guessing that if the angle is wrong then it would sent the air to just one of the two (obviously in traffic this would be perfect for heat soak) and would cause problems. Or am i barking up the wrong tree here??
:Laugh LOL

Looks real good mate. Im still trying to do mine...well i aint even started yet but ya\'know what i mean :Giggle Can i just ask a few questions...

1. What intercooler is that?
2. Have you managed to fit the undertray?
3. Any more pics of the water hoses?

For futur reference the wiring for the rads goes up the loom on the offside, all except the ground wire its a simple job just to undo the tape on the loom pull the cables out and you should have enough length on them then to not have to extend them except the ground wire(although you can pick that up off any metal point) then just tape the loom back up and place back in position.hth rob
