Sorry folks, another one for you! Import Solutions forgot to provide me with fitting instuctions for the convertor chip I just bought (£45). It\'s straightforward in as much as there are leads off it for +12V, ground, speedo pulse in (kmh), and speedo pulse out (mph). I\'ve got the instrument cluster out (thanks to Scully\'s site), disconnected the block that plugs in behind the speedo, but which wire is the one for the speedo pulse???? There\'s millions of them......AAARRGGHHHHHHHH. Scully reckoned 10 to 15 mins to remove instrument cluster. By the time I figured out how the blocks undid it took me 2 hours :reallymad
Helllllpppppp please.

This is what you need i believe if you have an fd

STEP 1 - Chip Preparation

1.   Take the converter chip and crimp 2 M3 ring terminals to the ends of the RED & BLACK wires.
2.   Crimp a male bullet connector onto the end of the YELLOW chip wire.
3.   Crimp a female bullet connector into the end of the GREY wire.

STEP 2 - Speedo Conversion

1.   Disconnect the vehicle battery and then carefully remove the instrument panel from the dash.
2.   Next remove the clear glass screen from the instrument panel and find where is says K/M/H on the Speedo clock face. Apply a piece of black tape to cover up the K so the display reads M/H.
3.   Now replace the clear glass and turn over the clocks.

Undo the lower mounting screw on the rear of the oil pressure gauge marked IG+ and connect the ring terminal on the RED wire to It.
Undo the left hand mounting screw on the rear of the oil pressure gauge marked ‘GND’ and connect the ring terminal on the BLACK wire to it.
Locate the central 12 pin instrument panel plug and cut the 2nd from top, r/h row, ‘Yellow/Red’ (or possibly Blue) wire about 3cm from connector. Crimp a male bullet terminal onto the connector end of the cut and a female bullet terminal into the loom end of the cut.
Now plug the respective bullet terminals on the chip wires into bullet terminals you just crimped on the loom and plug.
Refit the instrument panel and test.

STEP 3 - Delimiting

Delimiting takes place with the fitment of converter chip on all RX7 92> Models.

Reconnect the vehicle battery, Conversion / Delimit is now complete

Thanks a lot for that buddy.

Gave it a go exactly how that said but now i have a dead speedo and rev counter and all the other gauges are all at the top!

Could it be a dodgy connection somewhere?
also i have an indicator that will not turn off at all!

Thanks

Check all the connections again, that was the info sheet from Import Solutions, it worked ok on mine, sounds like a short to make your indicator on all the time, and maybe other gauges as well hope this may help.
