Rip-off Merchants....

Thought I\'d treat Lady to a wee service this weekend - (oil, filter, plugs).

Phoned up local Mazda dealership to get me a set of 9\'s assuming they\'d have them in stock. They didn\'t but offered me RX8 plugs for 39 B****DY QUID EACH!!!

Was not amused so disappeared to Halfrauds to pick up oil and filter, now I don\'t mind the £25 for oil and £7 for filter, but £18 for one measly spark plug?? (they didnt stock NGK 9\'s but could order me them in)

Anyhoo, long story short - phoned up Clive @ MRP - got the set of four + delivery for £38...RESULT!!

So on the off-chance that anyone here doesn\'t know this....DO NOT USE HALFRAUDS OR DEALERS FOR BITS!!!!

i get mine from partco or tmax, cost £36 for 4 ngk plugs

Oops, as for oil tesco near me does it for £14. But they have lately reduced it to 4lt !

halfords "order" their stuff in from the local motor factors ie mill auto.

get mine from mills last time in stock and 8 quid each.
