Hopefully easy turbo prob

My FD boosts fine through the 2 turbos except:-
 
Say i accelerate in 2nd gear all the way to red line( still have prob if i shift early tho)
 
I change to third gear and no boost at all
 
If i change to 4th i get full boost again
 
or if i stay in third and let off throttle to bout 25% ill hear a noise that sounds like a "whoosh" if i throttle then i get full boost

sounds kinda like your vacuum chamber is not maintaining vaccum under boost. have a look at the check valve supplying vacuum to the vacuum chamber.

I have got the same problem. This weekend will be swopping all vaccum pipes and check valves, so will post with the results early next week.

i had this, blocked cat in the end
