I\'m looking into changing the clutch in my car. It\'s a completely standard UK model  FD3S. I was looking for an Exedy Hyper single kit that will cost me £695 delivered to my door. Should I rather spend the money in a standard Exedy clutch or go for the upgraded one? What are my chances of buying the standard version just to find that I\'ll need to replace the flywheel?
IIRC you can get replacement discs for the Hyper single, so the next change won\'t be so expensive.

It\'s the Koyo N-flow a good choice for a radiator? If I wanted to use it later as part of a V-mount would I have any problems? Does it have a pick-up for the AST?

I want to buy some Noltec engine and diff mounts, but I can\'t get then in the UK. Trying to see if I could get them from the USA, but no much luck so far.
When you get an engine rebuild does the hoses get changed as a standard?
What else is worth doing while you have an engine rebuild?

Thanks for your help, and sorry for asking so many questions.

PS:
I\'m going to book my car with Karl and like to get as much information as I can.

clutch is one of the best things to to in a rebuild, also porting. If your planning on going on single your pretty much going to need to port. Also cleaning the whole engine bay (or painting)

Excedy is without a doubt one of the worst clutches I have ever owned and completely wrecked the driveability of one of my FD\'s.  Do yourself a favour and either stick with standard mazda or go for something like OS gliken.

Koyo is very good indeed.  You wont have much problems if you want to use it in a custom v-mount setup later on.

Hoses..... depends on who does the rebuild and how far they go into it and how reputable they are.

Other than that porting........ nice street port will see you with some good power.
