I worked in Japan for a number of years and made a few friends over there in the car trade, they send me lists and photo\'s every week of whats available.  This car is actually owned by a friend of a friend of a friend if you get what I mean. :burnout

Well after a few weeks of being fobbed off by the shipping company i finally got them to agree a schedule and it was confirmed this morning.  The car is going to be loaded in Osaka on saturday and the ship sets sail from Yokohama on monday.

I much prefer container shipping to RO/RO as they container ship nearly every week and not every month, plus if i\'d of missed this boat i\'d of had to wait till september before I saw the car.  But then container shipping is nearly double the cost of RO/RO.

I\'ve got exactly 4 days for the car to dock, clear customs and pick it up as I fly to the USA on the 30th.  It\'s going to be tight and I hope the ship isnt delayed. lol.

You know what, i\'ve had so many people saying they\'ll go and pick it up for me.  Funny though as nobody wants to pick up the Hilux Surf thats on the same boat though, strange that.
